Learning Groups

Service Description

These groups serve as a bridge between public school and homeschooling. Sometimes, public school students or private school students need extra support in a certain subject all throughout the school year. Sometimes, parents do not have the resources to take on the full academic burden of their students or feel that their student could be better served in a group setting. These groups give a consistent learning option to these families. Each student is taught through an individualized learning plan developed by their educator directly in combination with feedback and communication with the family of the student. The group setting grants students access to peer interaction and feedback as well as a project-based curriculum approach. Math and science groups are currently being offered with multiple time slots available for selection. Each session consists of on 2-hour in-person group class each week.
